PTP held it’s 11th Annual Meeting in Orlando, FL on February 8th. 

The meeting took place at the Coronado Springs Hotel on the Disney property.  The meeting was attended by 30 truckstop and shop

owners/representatives and 26 vendor company representatives. 

A reception was held the night before in conjunction with the

 NATSO Foundation Golf Tournament. 

 

 Several new PTP vendors spoke at the meeting on Wednesday,

including Sysco Foods, EcoLab, and TransMontaigne.  Ultra Low Sulfur Diesel was the hot topic that was discussed after a lunch was served.  Definitely make sure you are ready for this major industry change that is coming later this year. 

 

 The next two days, PTP manned a booth at the NATSO Annual Meeting and Expo.  PTP representatives met with truck stop and shop prospects during the show.  We also met with several new

potential vendors.  Two new locations were signed up at the NATSO show and there are several other companies that are likely to join and strengthen the PTP network.

 

 On another note, PTP has decided to change some things about the

annual meeting.  We will not be holding our annual meeting in

conjunction with the NATSO show next year.  We will be having an

annual meeting, but it will be at a different time of the year and more than likely in Nashville.  We’re considering inviting trucking

companies to come once again and to change the format of the

meeting somewhat.  We will still be attending the NATSO show and we will have a brand meeting there for all PTP members that are in attendance.  We’re hoping to boost the attendance at the next annual meeting and hope you will mark on your calendars once the dates are announced!!!
